Yuntai Mountain

The Yuntai Mountain scenic area covers 240 square kilometers. It is home to more than 500 species of trees, exotic flowers, and rare herbs. In 2004, it was recognized by UNESCO as one of the first batch of global geological parks. The scenic area includes eleven attractions, namely Hongshi Valley, Tanpu Valley, Quanpu Valley, Qinglong Valley, Fenglin Valley, Mihou Valley, Zhuyu Peak, Diecai Cave, Wanshan Temple, Zifang Lake, and Baijia Rock.

Visitors interested in learning about the geology and geomorphology of Yuntai Mountain can visit Hongshi Valley, Quanpu Valley, Tanpu Valley, and the Geological Museum. Visitors interested in culture and history can visit Wanshan Temple and Zhuyu Peak. Yuntai Mountain is a combination of geological history as well as a long gallery of natural landscapes. A tour of Yuntai Mountain will not only introduce you to the external beauty of mountains and waters but also reveal the magic evolution of nature.

Transportation:Take the sightseeing bus (extension of bus 3 in Jiaozuo) that operates between Jiaozuo Railway Station and Yuntai Mountain; the total distance is 37 km; each ride lasts about 1.5 hours.
