Huaqing Pool

Huaqing Pool is a royal palace built on the Tang Dynasty Huaqing Palace Site, Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level and was listed in the first batch of National 5A Tourist Attractions.

Huaqing Pool has been a hot spring bathing resort since ancient times. The “Lotus-shaped Bathing Pool” and “Malus spectabilis-shaped Bathing Pool” found in the “Museum of Imperial Bathing Pool Site” were special bathing pools for the Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty and Lady Yang. The “Lotus-shaped Bathing Pool” was where the Emperor Xuanzong bathed; “Malus spectabilis-shaped Bathing Pool” was where Yang Guifei bathed, and two stony pits can only be seen now. Mountains and waters in Huaqing Pool are more wonderful today. The natural scenic area is divided into three parts: The east is for bathing, and there are upscale health care bathing places, such as the bathing pool for the Emperor's ministers, bathing pool for the crown prince, bathing pool for the Emperor’s concubines, surfing bathing pool, etc.; the west is a garden sightseeing district, Feishuang Hall has an imposing appearance, and Yichun Hall has a zygomorphous structure; the south of the garden is a preservation district of cultural relics, and famous Lishan Mountain Hot Spring is located here.
