Jiangsu

Jiangsu, officially abbreviated to "Su" in Chinese, is a coastal province in eastern China. The province is well-known for its booming economy, well-developed education system and prosperous culture, which is mainly comprised of four branches: the Wu culture, Jinling culture, Huaiyang culture and Zhongyuan culture. The Yangtze River, the longest river in China, cuts through the province in the south before it reaches the East China Sea, dividing the region into two parts both climatically and culturally: the prosperous urban south and the rural north.
Jiangsu is blessed with extremely rich tourist resources; picturesque water towns in Jiangnan, exquisite classical gardens, mist-covered lakes and rivers, majestic mausoleums and millennia-old monasteries, all filled with rich cultural heritage make Jiangsu an ideal tourist destination.
