Qinghai

Qinghai, officially abbreviated as "Qing" in Chinese, is a province in western China. Located mostly in the northeastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, (the "Roof of the World") Qinghai is home to China's largest inland saltwater lake - Qinghai Lake - after which the province is named.
Qinghai is the source of the Yangtze River, the Yellow River and the Lancang River, hence its names, the "Headstream of Rivers" and the "Source of the Three Rivers". It has been hailed as "China's Water Tower". The beauty of Qinghai lies in its charming and unique primitive ecology, diversity which is irreplaceable. Li Bai's poem, "As I ascend to gaze at the magnificent heaven and earth, I'm impressed by the great river ever flowing eastward. The yellow clouds flutter in the wind for ten thousand li, while nine white streams are flowing down the snow-capped mountains" vividly portrays the magnificent landscape of Qinghai.
