“Only the peony is really national and colorful. When the flowers bloom, the capital is moved.” The 3,000-mu Beijing-Tianjin Peony Garden was initially built. More than 1 million peony trees have already been planted in the garden. It is expected that the park will open in the middle of this month. According to the staff of the park, the park is the largest Peony Garden in the north. It will be built according to the national 4A level standard and will eventually become a national 5A level scenic spot.

In 2016, Jizhou District combined the national ecological reserve forest project and started the construction of an ecological botanical garden with an area of 10,000 mu. Jingxin Guose Tianxiang Peony Garden is its core area. At present, a total of nine color systems and ten flowers have been planted and cultivated. There are more than one million types of peony, including more than 900,000 oil peony, 100,000 ornamental peonies, and more than 300 old peony trees over 100 years old. In the ecological botanical garden, a large number of northern rare tree species, a million tulips, a large area of rapeseed flowers and chrysanthemums are planted and will become the largest ecological botanical garden in northern China.

It is understood that the ecological botanical garden is in accordance with the "one heart, two axes, three groups" spatial structure layout, "one heart" is the integrated service center, "two axes" is the water around the fragrant landscape axis and the human landscape, "three groups" feature Cultural experience group, parent-child interactive entertainment group and Peony flower-sea viewing group. In the next few years, Jizhou District will carry out unified planning and design of the surrounding 11 villages, and create a comprehensive rural demonstration of tourism, leisure, entertainment, high-end hotels, special catering, and rural culture.
