Mount Yuntai Scenic Spot in Jiaozuo City
Situated in Xiuwu County of Jiaozuo City in Henan Province, Mount Yuntai Scenic Spot is among the first batch of world geoparks for its distinctive “northern karst topography”. It is also the only scenic spot that collects 7 national-level names together in Henan Province, namely National Key Scenic Spot, National 5A Scenic Spot, National Civilized Scenic Tourist Attraction, National Forest Park, National Water Conservancy Scenic Spot and National Macaque Nature Reserve. With an area of 190 km2, the scenic spot consists of 11 attractions, namely: Quanpu Gorge, Tanpu Gorge, Red Stone Gorge, Zifang Lake, Wanshan Temple, Baijia Cliff, Cornel Peak, Xian Palace, Saint Peak, Diecai Cave, Blue Dragon Gorge and Fenglin Gorge. There is also a waterfall with the largest fall in Asia- Yuntai Waterfall in the scenic spot.
